Meet Dr. Andrea Pinkstaff, DC, CAC

My name is Dr. Andrea Pinkstaff and I am a chiropractor for both people and animals. I became a chiropractor to serve others and help them achieve optimal health. I grew up on my family’s dairy farm in West Virginia and was very active in 4-H and FFA. I showed livestock at the county and state levels for many years. I started going to see a chiropractor when I was a teenager and have continued care ever since. I did not think of it as a career option until I saw how a chiropractor helped my then boyfriend, now husband, recover from an ATV accident. After seeing what chiropractic could do I started doing research and discovered that not only can chiropractic help people but also help animals as well. I always wanted a career where I could interact with animals on a daily basis.

I obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Biochemistry and Animal & Nutritional Science from West Virginia University. Then I went to Sherman College to obtain my Doctorate in Chiropractic. While at Sherman I attended A.C.E.S. to become trained in animal chiropractic which lead to me becoming certified by the Animal Chiropractic Certification Commission (ACCC) of the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. I am one of thirteen in the state of South Carolina.

My husband and I have two crazy boys and a Husky. My family comes first after my relationship with Christ. I love spending time with my family and as a family we like to spend time outside hiking or going to the zoo.
